Stones helps enhance a spell, can heal, or be used on its own. Each stone has its own magick property which in the right correspondence can do wonders for your spell or on its own. For healing there are certain stones you use only. Crystal Quartz is fantastic for an extra power boost because their energies are extremely powerful, it is almost like concentrated magick in a little crystal. But first to use a Crystal Quartz right make sure it is cleansed and then charged. Stones can be carried, worn, put into your cauldron and burned (some crushed stones), or used as a charm. Cleaning your stone; Some can be washed in water if they are hard stones, but stones that are made of salt must only be dusted, if put in water they will dissolve. Cleansing & Charging your stone; If the stone can be put in water get a bowl and put water and salt into the bowl, place the bowl in the sunlight (can be inside or outside) for at least 12 hours. If it is a dissolving stone place it in a bowl of salt in the moonlight for 12 hours. Programing your stone; With your thoughts you hold the crystal in your hand and close your eyes thinking about your energy flowing through your hands into the crystal until you feel your energies are inside it. With a spell put your stone in the middle of a pentagram with each point having a symbolizing object of its element. Then put your palm over the stone and breath in and out concentrating on the stone and chant "Jag programmerar min energi till dig".
